About Julie

Julie Davies is a wife, mom, and professional speaker specializing in speaking on faith and mental health topics.  As a former Division 1 volleyball player and a professional runway, print, and commercial model who struggled with anxiety and depression, after striving for many years to fill a void in her soul through her accomplishments and achievements, she realized that the only thing that could fill the void in her heart was a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Now, she brings hope and help to those who struggle as she did.  She earned a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Seminary. Julie has worked as a professional speaker, youth pastor, educator, therapist, and Christian counselor in clinical, non-profit, and faith-based organizations, and founded the New Hope Counseling Center in 2019.
