I met Dave Yearwood, (the Founder of the Giver Shirt) when I was a surf instructor at Walking on Water the summer after I graduated college. Thanks to our tight-knit surfing community, our paths crossed again when I got to meet his lovely bride Catherine at the wedding of one of my besties in the mountains of North Carolina.
