Hi Girls,
I just wanted to share with you a little about the work of one of our ministry partners and friends Friends of Bethany. Friends of Bethany is a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ worldwide by supporting and inspiring people through the life stories of Bethany Hamilton and others. Last year FOB host their first Beautifully Flawed retreat for girls with limb loss and it was a powerful event. I wanted to share with you the highlight video so you can see more about the amazing work FOB is doing. So many girls lives were touched by the ultimate hope only Jesus can give. This year Wonderfully Made will have a chance to be a part of the retreat and we feel beyond honored. Toward the middle of the video you’ll notice Bethany wearing our hot pink surfer girl hat during the surfing lesson. It looks like it was made for her!
Life’s not about having all your limbs or about everything perfect. Life’s not perfect, but through our imperfections we can bring beauty and good stuff out of life and glorify God through what we overcome. – Bethany Hamilton
