This event was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, and truly edified my life and brought me a new understanding. It taught me that I am not who my thoughts say I am, nor is my identity found in my circumstances. It reaffirmed to me who God says I am and finally helped me understand my purpose.

I have realized that even though I may have my flaws, God still loves me and has made me just how I should be, without shame or doubt about myself. I am going to start reading my Bible again and really get into what God is telling me.

I learned and believed that I was made for a reason and I am the only one who can do what God put me on earth to do and my impact on the world can only come from me and that’s why God created me and I have a purpose.

Emma Valentine is a 23-year-old songwriter and storyteller with a deep love for creation and the Creator. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Emma lives a life full of sunshine, waves, and music. She has performed at the Manhattan Center as top 10 Finalist in BroadwayCon’s “Star to Be” Competition, and competed on ABC’S American Idol. 

Shynna Valencia

Shynna Valencia is a former Laker Girl turned professional hair stylist and makeup artist with a passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each weekend, Shynna dedicates her time to teaching Bible stories to preschoolers at her church. Shynna resides in Burbank, California, where she cherishes life with her loving husband and their two small children.

Melissa Newton

Melissa Newton is a wife, mother, and photographer with a passion for capturing beauty and God’s goodness. She shares her story of overcoming a difficult childhood to give others hope. Melissa and her family are rooted in Carpinteria, California, where she spends her days raising her children, enjoying the coast, and serving alongside her husband in the church he pastors.

Tyler Bacquet

Tyler Bacquet is the founding pastor of Everlight, a new, lively church in Pismo Beach. He has a passion for sharing the love and hope of Christ with others and is both a gifted teacher and surfer! He is married to Veronica and is a fun-loving father of four.

Allie Marie Smith

Allie Marie Smith is the Founder and Director of Wonderfully Made and is an award-winning author, speaker, podcast host, and certified life coach. She is the author of Social Media Reset: A 30 Day Guided Journey to Unplug, Reconnect with God, and Reclaim Your Joy, and Wonderfully Made: Discover the Identity, Love, and Worth You Were Created For. She loves surfing and adventuring up and down the California coast with her husband, Paul, and Golden Retriever Gidget.

The Wildflower Collective

Avila, Emma and Daniella grew up on the same street and have been writing and playing music together since they were little. They love leading worship for local churches around Santa Barbara and playing bluegrass gigs for fun. Earlier this year, they had the joy of headlining for Anne Wilson!
