It is unnatural to think that the very things that cause pain are the forces that bring us great strength. In my life, it seems so odd to think that severe depression and sickness are woes that God can use for glorious good. I’m learning though, that the key is in surrender.
What is it in your life that causes you the most pain? I pray that you cling to the hope that these very trials can bring you closer into the presence of your Maker. Your greatest woes might be disguised as God’s greatest gifts.
