Aimee is a Certified Christian Image Consultant with a passion to teach young women how to express their inner beauty and worth through their appearance. More “style coach” than “stylist” Aimee walks groups and individuals step by step toward discovering one’s individual style. Aimee visually demonstrates practical tips and tricks to styling balanced outfits, and building a wardrobe that is fun, comfortable, and entirely useful. As a wife and mom of two girls, Aimee emphasizes the importance of knowing that our value comes from God’s love. Then we can reflect His love and beauty in our appearance.
Allie Marie Smith
Allie is the Founder and Chief Encouragement Officer of Wonderfully Made. When she’s not producing short films, young women’s conferences, our podcast or writing books and Bible studies, she can be found wandering the coast with her fellow surfer-husband Paul. Allie speaks authentically and candidly about her own mental health struggles specifically bipolar disorder, body image issues, depression and eating disordered behavior.
Born and raised in foggy Northern California, Arielle Estoria Leda Wilburn is a Writer, Speaker and Creative. The heartbeat behind her work is a diligent pursuit of instilling and reminding people of their worth through words. Arielle is the Co-Author of two self-published collections of poetry: Vagabonds and Zealots (2014) and Write Bloody Spill Pretty (2017) which can both be found on Amazon.com and in 2016, released her EP of poetry and music titled Symphony of a Lioness.
Growing up in southwest Michigan, Carley was a talented athlete who received many awards for her outstanding abilities – especially on the basketball court. As she entered her senior year of high school, Carley discovered she had a rare medical condition that resulted in the amputation of her dominant right hand. But her story doesn’t end there, rather, it is just the beginning. Carley’s positive attitude, determination and faith in God allowed her to get back onto the court only three short months after the amputation. Her story is inspiring as she has overcome tremendous difficulties which have only made her stronger in faith and character.
Chloe was born with a severe foot deformity. She has had numerous operations and faced daunting challenges but has always met each hurdle with emotional strength and grace. In 2014, Chloe was a victim of assault and bullying at her high school. Six months later, she had the courage to begin telling her story. She met Bono who spoke powerful words about fighting injustice. This became a turning point for Chloe and would mark a recovery story that builds in strength with each re-sharing. She says, “I was born with a disability, but I’ve always felt beautiful.”
Christie Pierce is a prodigal, a grace-soaked sunshine kid, and a poet who found her soul in the Psalms of the Bible. She recently served as the national Director of a Los Angeles-based youth empowerment program, reaching thousands of teens with the truth about their value, and exposing false media messages and cultural myths about sex. Christie now lives in Santa Barbara and serves as a business partner to her husband, Will — a full time fine artist, and momma to their two glorious kids, Christian and Isla. Christie is learning the art of singing and living from the heart.
Julia Ismail is pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology. She feels most alive preaching about and experiencing Christ’s redeeming love, and fusing into ministry her passion for health and wellness after encountering an illness. Julia is a speaker and health advocate and wants to dedicate her life to spreading the message of real beauty, true health, and living passionately in the space of Christ’s overwhelming love.
Kate Merrick is a writer, speaker, pastor’s wife, mama of a teen and a toddler, surfer, part-time cowgirl, and self-proclaimed chicken whisperer. She has been married to Britt for 19 years and they live in Carpinteria, California, where they founded the Reality family of churches. In 2013 she endured the death of her daughter, Daisy Love, after suffering through cancer treatment for three and a half years. Kate is making her way back toward laughter and finding life to be filled with good things.
Kayla Scheidler is originally from Oceanside, California but currently lives near Tokyo with her husband who is a Navy helicopter pilot. She has been a part of Wonderfully Made since the very beginning at Santa Clara University and speaks regularly to girls and young women. She continues to work with her family’s literacy nonprofit and teaches English to Japanese children and Sunday School to American children. She loves experiencing the Japanese culture and food and traveling throughout Asia whenever possible!
Kendra is a So. Cal native who recently received her Master of Divinity from the Franciscan School of Theology, and speaks regularly to college and young adult women. Kendra loves sharing how Christ invites each of us to live a joy-filled life, grounded in authenticity, while drenched in his love. A few of her favorite things are heartfelt coffee dates, traveling the world, beach volleyball, and spontaneous dance parties.
Nicole Bromley is a sought-after Professional Speaker, author and National Spokesperson on sexual abuse and assault. She is the author of two books: Hush: Moving from Silence to Healing after Childhood Sexual Abuse, and Breathe: Finding Freedom to Thrive in Relationships after Childhood Sexual Abuse. Having been viewed as the perfect girl all her life, excelling as an athlete, scholar, artist, and class leader, she appeared to have it all. But at the age of 14, she realized her entire childhood had been ravaged by the torment of sexual abuse. Through her internationally recognized keynote message Our Little Secret, Nicole tells her story in an effort to break the silence surrounding childhood sexual abuse.
Sarah Rachel Hill
Portrayed by Carrie Underwood in the recently released movie, “Soul Surfer,” Sarah was instrumental in helping surfer Bethany Hamilton through a tragic shark attack that left her with one arm. Sarah’s own past, which include suffering a broken neck and back in a surfing accident, helped prepare her and equip her in ministry. Sarah serves as a missionary on the Island of Kauai where she leads one of the largest student ministries on the Island. Grounded in her devotion an love for Christ, her training allows her to recognize those in need and gives her the ability to reach out to them. After growing up in a tough and abusive home, through God’s grace, she continues impacting lives for God’s kingdom on Kauai…and beyond.
Hilary and Kate
Guitarist and vocalist, Hilary Watson, and violinist Kate Feldtkeller travel the world together. Their sweet harmonies and gospel style hymns create a heart melting sound. They currently reside in San Luis Obispo, California but are most often found on the wide open road. Their album City of God is available on iTunes.
Danya is a worship leader and stylist from Monterey, CA, who loves to snuggle her dog, Blakely, hike along the Monterey coast and decorate her little beach cottage. She and her husband, Brenton, can be found leading worship at Calvary Monterey on most weekends, or hunting for good coffee on gray Monterey weekdays. She is passionate about encouraging women to not only be content with and confident in who they are, but to thrive in the midst of everyday life.
