You are God’s beloved. Nothing can separate you from this identity and love.

Unbelief cannot.
Insecurity cannot.
Pride cannot.

Manning continues this quote with these words:
“God’s love for you and his choice of you constitute your worth. Accept that, and let it become the most important thing in your life.”
What if we really let Jesus and His love for us become the most important thing in our lives?

More important than our likability on the internet.
More important than our performance.
More important than our most prized possessions.

When you find yourself feeling like you need to hustle harder, do more or be more, remember that you were created for a love this world will never give you.
Be still and be loved by the One who created you and has come to give you life everlasting and life to the full.

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:16-19)
